Booking short term stays at short notice

Booking is now open for short breaks throughout the season

We are now letting people to book for shorter breaks, any flexible number of days at short notice. The charge per night is based on the parks charge for ‘silver’  but normally about 15% off . If the time you want to book is showing white and you want to check if it might be available for short-stay, get in touch with the contact form to ask us.

In 2024 there was a cleaning service normally available that we gave contact details for and charged £40 but for 2025 this is TBC ( and cleaners are not available at weekends).

Neither the site or us provides bed linen. The differences are:

1. WiFi is included for 4 devices (This would cost £20 per week)
2. By booking, you agree and commit to do a thorough clean unless you agree in advance and organise cleaning see above
3. A well behaved mature dog is allowed see below

Booking process and agreement

• This website DOES NOT CALCULATE CORRECTLY the fee.  Refer to the table and we will confirm the amount before accepting your booking
• Read the site rules (particularly no single sex groups of 3 or more)
• Find an available (green) slot – you will see you can click on the arrival day and then separately the leaving day below (the full period will then be dark grey), and complete your details.
• Prices are per night and allow for a minimum stay of 2 nights though this is at a slight premium
• If you get the wrong period or were just checking costs, refresh the page and start again, then complete the other details
• We write to confirm the place is available (or not) and with our bank details.
• Pay £100 within 3 days to secure your place and the balance 6 weeks before arrival – SO – IF BOOKING WITHIN 6 WEEKS OF ARRIVAL PAY THE FULL FEE IMMEDIATELY
• We will write with final details you need to know to arrive once you’ve paid in full
• We hope you’ll have an amazing holiday, and leave the caravan even cleaner and more loved than you found it and want to return

Dogs

A well behaved mature dog is allowed on condition it never goes on any chairs / sofa or beds, and you clean up scruplously so no-one would at all know it had been there. At present we charge just a token £10 extra for dogs and it is important to us that you tell us you plan to bring a dog (and their breed) when booking so we can ensure the park and our friends in the nearby caravans know in the event of any issues

Remember to bring dog bowl / bed / dog towels etc. When muddy or sandy please carry your dog straight to the shower (or sink if small?!) to wash their paws and coat.

Leaving

• Unless we’ve agreed for it to be professionally cleaned, do a great job yourselves – we will make available a guide for this once you have booked
• In practice, sometimes there are breakages – we are renting on a trust basis and these things happen, but what matters a lot to us is that you tell us so we can do something about it or at least ensure the next occupant knows
• We hope the next occupant will be pleasantly surprised by the state of the caravan and that you will be welcomed to book with us to come again
